"I'm a firm believer in Joe Pilates most famous quote at the ripe age of 86 years old: "I must be right. Never an aspirin. Never injured a day in my life. The whole country, the whole world, should be doing my exercises. They'd be happier."

My name is Emily Horak. I am trained in the classical Joseph Pilates method of physical conditioning from Personalized Pilates (balanced body method) and have been teaching Pilates for five years now. In the 1920's "The Pilates Method" was introduced by Joseph Pilates as a unique and safe way to condition and rehabilitate the body after an injury. Today it is utilized by everyone from a way to rehabilitate an injury to a way to build a strong core and improve flexibility.

My training sessions are customized depending on YOUR needs. I focus not only on strengthening the essential muscles, but improving posture and functional movement as well. I offer private and semi private classes on the Allegro 2 Reformer, EXO chair, and Core Align. I also offer a Cardio Pilates class (private or semi) that incorporates cardio moves on and off the equipment.

A challenging, low impact, total body workout that focus on strengthening the core and elongating rather than bulking musculature. Pilates is a resistance-based exercise that uses tension to strengthen and stretch, allowing the body to develop a long, strong, lean form.

Pilates is ageless and genderless. Anyone can benefit from Pilates: the athlete, the office worker, those with physical challenges or injuries, the flexible and inflexible, the dancer, the golfer, the boxer, and the expecting mother. With hundreds of exercises Pilates will push you farther than you ever thought your body could go.

Cardio Pilates

Combines exercises on and off the Pilates equipment to allow for a more intense cardio experience than you normally get.

Weight Loss

Then with that thing in mind, follow these simple steps. Step One: Get yourself nice and relaxed and settled. Concentrate on your breathing, engage in the moment and spend some time being still, quiet and drift inside of your own mind...

Private or Group Sessions

Become aware of the temperature, the sights, the sounds and enjoy walking along the path of your life. Make it sensory rich and get comfortable with the idea. Imagine the feeling of your feet walking along the path and the sound....
